What To Expect At The 2017 New York Auto Show

The New York International Auto Show kicks off next week. Doors open to the public on Friday February 14th. Here are some of the debuts you can expect.

Acura will unveil the 2018 TLX and it should be significantly updated. Acura says the 2018 TLX will be styled to be more aggressive, sporty, and alluring. The styling will be based on the Acura Precision Concept which made its debut at Detroit last year. The new TLX should also have new premium features and technology upgrades. The unveil is set to take place live at 4:45 pm on April 11.

Toyota will unveil its FT-4X Concept next as well. The FT-4X could possibly be the successor to the FJ. After a decade of production the FJ Cruiser went out of production in 2016 and 2 years earlier in the US market. The new vehicle would likely compete in the same class as the Jeep Wrangler. Toyota captioned the release as, “Four Wheeling. Scene Stealing.” The FT-4X is set to debut at 9:10 am an April 12.

Infiniti apparently unveiling something ‘HUGE’ next week. Based on the release photo and the fact that the largest vehicle in Infiniti’s lineup is the almost 3 ton QX80. The styling seems to be a move in the right direction away from the bulging QX80. The debut is set to take place on April 11. It’s gonna be ‘yuge!
